Up and Down

Life is interesting. For the most part mine has felt like I have been climbing a mountain. You know-- weak in the knees, compromised oxygen saturation in the lungs. Once in a while I catch a plateau and can glide a little bit. But it doesn't last long.

The last few months have been super challenging to say the least. I wish I could say that miraculous things have happened, that the voids that have been left have been replaced by new things to fill them. But- they haven't.

I'm still pretty much in the same place I was 3 months ago. I have been making an effort to throw myself into new projects. Service, crafty, furniture rearranging. I'm sure that will start to pay off soon.

Summer in San Francisco. This has to be the last one. I need warmth and sunshine. Yeah Summer is cool here, if you don't mind having Rickets. While the rest of the country is having record temperatures, we in the city have had record lows...

I'm sure God has something up his sleeve for me though-- because through it all I am still incredibly blessed. I still have my precious side kick Franklin, and I have had a lot of close calls that could have been worse if there wasn't divine intervention.

So I continue to hold on, and remain positive. I am making more of an effort to think less about me, and more about helping other people. So thats it in a nut shell. My sabbatical is going to be more of a part time thing as I try to think of things worthy to blog about.

In the mean time, I am taking Vitamin D suppliments. LOL
