The Cone of Shame

Poor Franklin. His little foot had been bothering him for a few days, and then yesterday when he refused to put pressure on it and biffed it on the sidewalk I knew I needed to take him to the vet. I soon found out it was very infected and swollen from a foreign body--- poor guy. He is flying high now though, on pain meds and antibiotics. He is on his way UP!!

My puppy, just months after we got her, stopped using one of her back legs. Found out it was a Patella Luxation. They had to shave the bone and stuff. Needless to say, she had to wear the cone for a long while until the staples were removed. She was pretty drugged up for most of it, but still, I felt horrible. Glad to hear Franklin is getting better though.
