I came home from Honolulu last night on a red eye. Why do I do that to myself? It is way too hard to recover.
I do feel badly for those waiting for their SLC flight-- delayed until 3:10 a.m. Hawaiian time-- thats 6:10 a.m. Utah time. Painful.
Please don't look at me with those sad, exhausted eyes-- you're on your way home for Thanksgiving. Don't get me wrong, I am trying to bloom where I am planted... but if there is one thing that I have learned living out here in the big city, its how grateful I am for my family! I miss them every day. So, wait on SLC passengers, the snow will be there sparkling when you arrive!!
I made it home to mild San Francisco in one piece, groggily dragging my baggage up the sidewalk and into my building. How happy I was for my bed, and newly washed and folded jammies (thanks to my friend Jenna who saved the day) There is nothing like changing into soft comfy clothes before drifting in to dreamland.
Tomorrow I am preparing for Thanksgiving with my two favorite San Francisco boys ( and one San Francisco K9) . We will have turkey and pie and shall give thanks for how blessed we are to have jobs, and to have each other. Good adventures await I am sure. Stay tuned.
ALOHA!
