When I am facing things bigger than I can handle, my mom tells me to "stay busy." "You're mind can only think about one thing at a time." So when the time comes to make sense of the ungraspable, I just have faith, and stay busy. It isn't a fool proof plan, but it gets you through.
Turning 30 huh?! I will say that was the birthday where I really pondered about about my 30. I saw all the positive things. I didn't compare to others. I was happy with it and then I said "I'm 29...." and still do.... well, until this last birthday... "I'm thirty something now...."
I'd have to agree with Rochelle. Stay busy and don't give your brain much time to think. Thinking can be very bad sometimes. Oh, and most importantly, trust your Heavenly Father what doesn't make any sense to us seems to make perfect sense to Him. Later Skater.
will we get to find out ever? ;) I don;t necessarily ignore big change, but I feel like I hold my breath until everything settles back into a routine again. Every change, no matter how big, only stays "big" for a relatively very short amount of time. We can quickly become adjusted to whatever comes our way. Change, even unwelcome changes, ALWAYS give us the opportunity to grow.
btw, I've missed your blog. I've been playing catch up. :)
