Yesterday I volunteered to babysit while members of my church visited our temple. Three hours, four adults, and 17 children (13 of them toddlers and babies) in one room... a thrill a minute!! I had to put my hours of watching Supernanny to work... we only had a few minutes of mutiny toward the end.
My arms are a little sore(the hours were spent with a baby in each arm) but it was fun to change up the normal routine. The parents couldn't figure out why a single girl would volunteer to take care of other peoples kids... many asked which one was mine LOL!!
I had a great time getting to know Sarah and her family, and being a kid for a while.
All of this, and without the Supernanny. Who knew?

From a mom who loves when people watch her kids when she goes to the Temple. THANK YOU! If you are ever in my area, please come be my nanny for a few hours so I can go to the temple! Then of course, stay for a few more hours so we can visit!
Wow, you're brave.. I usually pretend I didn't get the message when people call me for that and I actually am a nanny.. You really are superwoman!
Leko, will you send me an e-mail from your e-mail address? Sorry about the Oakcrest blog issues, I am not sure what the problem is. My e-mail is kristi.bassett@gmail.com
Leko this is the sweetest thing I have ever heard! I know that I would love for people in our ward to do this. What a thoughtful person you are.
